Join Second Story for our Learning Series: Reconnecting Generation COVID on Tuesday, March 29 at 11am ESTJoin us for a virtual conversation with Anne Kim, author of Abandoned:  America’s Lost Youth and the Crisis of Disconnection, on Tuesday, March 29, from 11 AM – 11:45 AM EST.

America’s young adults have borne an outsized share of the economic and social impacts of the coronavirus pandemic. As many as nine million young adults ages 16 to 24 are both out of school and out of work, according to one 2020 estimate, leaving their future prospects uncertain.

What do we know about the state of America’s young people and the potential impacts of this mass “disconnection?” How can we best help young Americans regain a path toward education and careers?

Second Story’s Vice President of Residential Services Cathy Benn and Vice President of Community-Based Services Soraya Borja will share Second Story’s efforts to reconnect youth and young adults.
