Second Story operates a Teen Center and after-school programs in neighborhoods that are often forgotten, underserved, and lack many resources. Poverty, violence, and drug use are far too come. Many families are unable to provide their children with the support necessary to thrive in school and beyond. Second Story’s programs help fill those gaps by providing youth with access to safe spaces to gather, tutoring, counseling, food, field trips, life skills lessons, and leadership opportunities. We have watched so many amazing local youth overcome the challenges of their communities to transform into future leaders who can change the trajectory of their own lives and neighborhoods.
